Hello, I'm about to invest in a business that streams cable feeds from Europe to Asia and I'm looking for hardware vendors right now. I've come across SysMaster and StreamTel. Basically, my setup involves an encoder (to take cable feed and convert to IP), a streamer (to stream to clients), and a billing system.

Does anyone have any other ideas or vendors I might've missed?

I am not a proffessional in this field but some friends recommended World Stream Telecommunication.
They offer nearly everything from platform-only solutions to content-in solutions.

I really don't know who has the best encoders, but Grass Valley was the supplier of encoders on AT&T's U-verse Network (project Lightstream) in the USA.
